Our Editorial Policy and Review Process

What this editorial policy covers

We publish process guides, safety guidance and plain-language explanations. We do not publish predictions, tips, "guaranteed" outcomes, or content that presents betting as a way to make money. We do not publish anything aimed at people under 18.

How a page gets written

• Research. We establish what the process actually involves and what figures are currently published, and we note where a figure is variable.
• Structure. The direct answer goes first, in the first screenful. Detail follows. Facts go in tables rather than being buried in prose.
• Write. Plain language, short sentences, no filler. Where a risk exists, we name it specifically rather than gesturing at it.
• Check. Figures are verified against the source, internal links are checked, and safety statements are checked for consistency across pages.
• Date. The page gets a last-checked date, shown to readers.
• Review. Pages are re-checked on a schedule and whenever we learn something has changed.

How we handle figures that change

Limits and available payment methods are not fixed. Our approach:

• We state the current published figure, not an approximation
• We say explicitly when no figure is published, rather than inventing one
• We tell readers to confirm figures in their own conversation before moving money
• We date the page so readers can judge how much weight to give it

"No published maximum" is a real answer and we give it. A made-up number would read as more authoritative and be worse information.

Authors and reviewers

Every guide names its author. Where a second person has checked it, that appears as a separate "reviewed by" line. Author profiles list relevant background, and every author page is linked from the articles that person wrote.

Nobody who writes here is a betting operator, dealer or agent, and nobody here has access to any reader's account.

Corrections

We would rather be corrected than be wrong for longer. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page with the page and the problem.

• Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed
• A material correction is noted on the page, not silently overwritten
• The last-checked date is updated when a page changes substantively
• Typos and wording fixes are made without a note

Commercial relationships

If a page contains a commercial link, it is marked as one on that page. Two rules sit above any commercial consideration:

• No arrangement changes what a page says about risk
• No arrangement causes a safety warning to be removed or softened

If a commercial relationship and one of those rules ever conflict, the rule wins.

Safety and harm reduction

This is a subject where bad information costs people money. Three standing commitments:

We name the specific credentials nobody should ever hand over, on every page where that matters, using the same wording each time — consistency is what makes a warning memorable. We describe fraud mechanics rather than just labelling things "scams", because understanding the mechanism is what makes the next attempt recognisable. And we link to responsible gambling guidance from every page that discusses money.

AI and reuse

We publish machine-readable summaries at /llms.txt and full text at /llms-full.txt so that answer engines can quote us accurately rather than paraphrasing us badly. Quoting and citing is permitted; we ask for attribution and a working link to the page used.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any betting operator. We do not accept content written by operators or dealers, and we do not publish guest posts. If you see a page claiming to be BetProID and offering to create an account, process a payment or recover funds, it is not us — please report it.
